How it works

You pick the days, the celebrations come with them

Between 20 December and mid-January Italy celebrates three times: Christmas, New Year’s Eve and on 6 January the Epifania, the feast of Epiphany. How many of them fall within your holiday depends only on your dates.

Arrive for Christmas and stay into the new year, and the Christmas menus and New Year’s Eve are included. Stay beyond 6 January and the Epiphany lunch is added. Every celebration within your stay is included. You book once, in one apartment, with one bill.

Every day includes breakfast and the 18-hole course on your doorstep, with unlimited green fees from the first day to the last.

Christmas

On Christmas Eve, a Christmas dinner in the resort restaurant. On 25 December you celebrate the Italian way, with the traditional Christmas lunch.

New Year’s Eve

The Cenone di Capodanno in the restaurant: a welcome aperitif, a menu of several courses, then music and a party into the new year. Water, house wine, spumante and coffee are included. Afterwards you walk back to your apartment, no taxi, no drive at two in the morning.

Epiphany

In Italy, Epiphany closes the festive season. At lunchtime we invite you to a festive meal in the restaurant. The days before and after are the quietest of the whole winter, on the course and along the coast.

New Year’s Eve, the Italian way

The evening begins with the aperitivo and ends when the last guests leave. In between: chef Michele’s menu, music, the toast at midnight and, at one o’clock, the Italian tradition of cotechino with lentils for a lucky year.

On the course between celebrations

18 holes among cypresses, olive groves and hills, playable all year round. Between Christmas and Epiphany the course is quiet and tee times are never an issue.

The green fee covers your entire stay. A round on the morning of 1 January, two the day after Christmas lunch, or none at all: you decide day by day.

From the apartment to the first tee is a few minutes on foot. To play the course you need a valid handicap certificate up to HCP 54.

Frequently asked questions

Which offer do I book if I stay for two celebrations?

None in particular. Enter your dates and the booking shows the matching festive rate automatically, for example “Christmas & New Year's Eve at Il Pelagone”. All celebrations within your dates are included. The planner above takes you straight there.

Why are there set arrival and departure days?

So that every celebration falls entirely within your stay. If you come for Christmas, you arrive by 24 December; if you celebrate New Year’s Eve, you stay at least until 1 January. Within those windows you choose freely, minimum three nights.

What if my dates don’t include a celebration?

Then you book at the regular daily rate with breakfast, and the planner tells you so. This applies, for example, to a stay from 26 to 30 December.

Can I cancel?

The festive rate is non-refundable and paid in full when booking. In return, all festive meals and green fees are already included.

I don’t play golf. Is it still worth it?

Yes. The festive meals, breakfast and the apartment are the core. Green fees are included, but you don’t have to use them. If you play, you need a valid handicap certificate up to HCP 54.

What do children pay?

Children aged 6 to 15 pay half price for the festive menus, children up to 5 eat free. The booking shows the price for your family as soon as you add the children.

Are drinks included on New Year’s Eve?

Yes. On 31 December, water, house wine, spumante and coffee are included in the price.
